Where I am interning is Good Earth Plants and GreenScaped Buildings. First, my internship times vary, but try to stay around 11 to 5. When you first see the one story building, you notice the large green roof, comprised of mainly native Californian plants. As you walk inside, you see a fish tank that recycles water through plants to clean the water to use for the fish. Next to the fish, is a large wall filled with packs and awards, containing tonnes of news articles all pertaining to the company, and many "green" awards. Inside the first room is the secretary and her desk, yet behind her is a couple of Living walls and products that show potential clients what we have to offer. If you walk past the sectary and turn right, there is a hallway with some bathrooms, not very impressive, but continue on into the kitchen. The kitchen has some living walls and an exit to the outside, but if you make another right, you walk in to my temporary office. It has a desk, a chair, a computer, and some random metal. On the outside, there is a huge court yard filled with plants and many different living walls. Continue back and you get to the area where we store the plants and a building that houses our marketers and botanist. The rest of the grounds and buildings are mainly office spaces or storage spaces, there are some pictures I have that you can look at. I'll post again soon.
